Happy New Year!

Happy New Year ladies, another year has come and gone. I’m hoping for 2022 to be a better one than the past 2 have been. As we begin a new year let’s think about our bone health, and what we might need to change in our daily lives. By this I mean how and what are we going to do to help our bones become stronger. Now that the holidays are over, and I know that I sure did indulge in certain foods and sweets that I don’t usually do. I just told myself hey it’s the holidays! Now it’s time to get back on track and start eating healthy and exercising more.

I know sometimes it is difficult to do, and with winter here going outside and walking might not seem as interesting. I know it has been very cold here in North Dakota hitting lows of -55 with the wind chill. So I get it, the motivation just isn’t there. There are plenty of things we can do inside if you have a treadmill now the time to use it. Yoga can also be done inside, just make sure you keep moving during these winter months. It is so important for your bones, sitting for a long period of time is not good for anyone, let alone we who have osteoporosis.

I will be posting more blogs in the coming weeks, I know I have done too many with the holidays and all, but I’m back full force and will be giving you more information, recipes, and of course watch out for the new Januarys drawing on my FaceBook page. I hope you all have a wonderful day, until next time.
