Learning And Educating Yourself

Learning about your diagnosis is so important to all women, who have been told they have osteoporosis. The more you educate yourself they better off you will be on understanding exactly what it means. Don’t be afraid to ask you doctor questions, and if you feel he or she isn’t telling what you need research or reach out to me. I know I’m not a doctor nor do I work in the medical field, I have done my research on osteoporosis. This is why I created this blog, so many women just go by what the doctors are telling them to do. You don’t need to do that, when you had your bone density test the doctor probably told you that you could sustained a fracture in 3 years. Did you believe that? If so please don’t. I will be posting a blog on a Dexa Scan and what it means and when you should be thinking of taking supplements to help your bone mass. I had a doctor years ago say to me, “if you were ever in an accident your bones would just explode!” I was like no I don’t thinks so, so after finding a different doctor, and telling her what the other one said, she said that was so wrong. So with that being said, please learn and educate yourself on your bone health. I’m always available to help you with any questions you might have.

Wishing you all a wonderful day and please reach out!

Cecilia
